Our Story

Sometimes you love your dogs so much you risk everything to gift them a piece of land. Other times, you love music and community so much you're foolish enough to think you can host your own music festival. And once in a while you somehow manage to do both.

The Festival

Three days of music and community

Each July, Little Texas hosts a small but vibrant music festival featuring regional artists, amazing food, and a whole lot of loving community. Music begins Friday evening and lasts throughout the weekend. Festival goers are encouraged to camp on the festival grounds and enjoy a full weekend beneath the beautifully shimmering Gerry oaks.

The Fundraiser

The Little Texas festival grounds and all the surrounding area are particularly vulnerable to the ravages of wildfires. In the summer of 2025, the Bordoin Fire burned approximately 11,000 acres and destroyed 14 homes. Our local area was saved by the amazing efforts our all volunteer local fire department.  In appreciation, The Little Texas Music Festival and Pig Out will make a donate to The High Prairie District #14 Fire Department each year. Thank you in advance for supporting our volunteer fire fighters who are also members of our community.
